Is this the future of the many slightly tired Carrera 3.2s that can be found on the market theses days?  Top money cars have a full service history, no rust, no evidence of accident damage and will fetch up to and beyond £20,000. This 1986 Carrera 3.2 Coupe was bought for less than half that and had a lot of small issues to address. Surely the ideal basis for a track day car? To add a bit of visual excitement we will be building tha car with the looks of a Carrera 3.0 RS

Possibly one of the most iconic versions of the impact bumper 911 was the 1974 Carrera 3.0 RS. It was the direct development of the 1973 Carrera 2.7 to race in the 3 litre class so benefited from an enlarged 3 litre motor based on stronger aluminium crank case, the braking system from the 2.8 RSR, the widened arches which later became “Turbo” arches and wider 8” and 9” Fuchs rims

The car was stripped to a virtually bare shell and a full FIA specification roll cage fitted. The sunroof roof was removed and a complete carbon fibre roof panel fitted. The heavy front and rear bumpers have been ditched, steel Turbo arches fitted all round, 1974 3.0 RS style bumpers fitted front and rear.
