On dismantling it became obvious that the shell would require quite a bit of remedial work before we could carry out the required modifications. The picture below shows the usual 3.2 corrosion in the B pillar which will almost certainly require replacement of the B pillar, kidney bowl, inner and outer sills. |

Corrosion in the rear quarter. We thought this was evidence that the quarter had previously been replaced, but it seem that tis is due to thefoam pad that is placed between the inner and outer wings to prevent mud being thrown up underneath the wing/roof joint. |
